These terms explain how you may use Startupzel. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What Startupzel is
Startupzel is an online marketplace where people list small startups and online businesses for sale and where interested people can contact them. Startupzel is a venue. We are not a party to any sale, we do not own or check what is listed, and we do not hold, receive or transfer money, domains, code or accounts.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Startupzel for a business, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person should use one account.
- Tell us at hi@startupzel.com if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Listings
If you list a startup, you confirm that you own it or have the right to sell it, and that what you write about it is true and not misleading. This includes revenue, profit, traffic, age and what is included in the sale.
You may not list anything illegal, anything you do not have the right to sell, or anything that infringes the rights of others. We may remove a listing at any time, for example if it breaks these terms or looks misleading.
5. Messages and conduct
Use messages to talk about listings and possible deals. Do not send spam, abuse, threats or anything unlawful, and do not use Startupzel to collect other people’s personal data for unrelated purposes.
6. Deals between users
Any sale is an agreement between the buyer and the seller. Startupzel is not responsible for the accuracy of listings, for whether a deal goes ahead, or for what either side does. Revenue and traffic figures come from sellers. Ask for proof and do your own checks before you pay. We recommend a written agreement and, for larger amounts, advice from a lawyer or a transaction service.
7. Fees
At the time of writing, Startupzel charges no listing fee and no commission. If we introduce fees in the future, we will update these terms and give notice before they apply to you.
8. Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. By posting it on Startupzel, you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and share it on the site so that the service can work. This ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that are part of messages other users have already received.
9. Using the site
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not scrape it in a way that harms it or collects personal data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
10. No warranties and limits on liability
Startupzel is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that arise from deals between users, from listings or messages written by users, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited, including consumer rights.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those about liability and governing law, continue after an account ends.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If a change is significant, we will let you know clearly, for example on the site or by email.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Aydın, Türkiye, have jurisdiction over any dispute that arises from them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
